The WaterTile 22-nozzle body spray is a single-function spray with a fully adjustable spray face that pivots for targeted hydromassage. It has a low-profile design that suits many styles and a face diameter of about 4.1 to 5 inches, so it covers more of the body than a small jet.

Where to Place Shower Body Sprays
Placement is very important. If the sprays are in the wrong positions, you will not enjoy them as you should. Think about the heights of everyone who uses the shower. If users differ in size, install a separate volume control, so that you can turn off the highest spray without turning off all of them, which is also handy for small children. If your shower has a bench, point the middle spray at your back while you are seated.
- Controls. Everyone should be able to reach the diverter, so install it at or above the valve. Put the valve at waist height, about 36 inches above the floor.
- Top sprays. Direct them at shoulders or back, not at your face or the back of your head.
- Middle sprays. Aim them at waist or hip height.
- Bottom sprays. Aim them at thighs or knees, not lower.
- Shower head. Mount it at a height everyone can reach. It is better a little low than too high, but not so low that tall users have to bend.
Things to Consider Before Buying
- Use a pressure-balancing loop. If you install two or more body sprays, a loop helps to give an equal flow, pressure and temperature.
- Cover the whole body. Place the sprays so that wherever you face, you get a full-body experience. Install them on a different wall than the shower head, but not where they would spray at the shower door.
- Use several sprays. For the best results, buy sprays in sets of four or even six.
- Check the valve. Body sprays need a compatible rough-in or valve (for example, Moen M-PACT for Moen sprays), and you will need a plumber or confident DIY skills for the installation.
- Mind water use and supply. Several sprays running at once need enough flow and a water heater that can keep up. For help choosing one, see our shower valve reviews.
